1st Hot yoga class of the year

It's been a year since my last hot yoga class.
It was hot & hard - I felt dizzy between poses and had to
work to stay for the whole session.
I am going to keep it up -- to get back in better shape like
when I was training for the half marathon. (I definitely
slack off after the run; busy with end of school year, packing,
and year end celebration.)

Also, I got a new 50 dollars bill - pretty neat, it's like
the Malaysian Ringgits (1 Malaysian ringgit = 0.314 US $)
Randomness:  I love the sound of "ringgit".

China has been good to me :)

My two years adventure in China has been wonderful.
China has definitely been good to me.
I am so grateful for everything over the past two years at Yongchuan, Chongqing, China.

Looking back, I have worked with wonderful/fun people, I have traveled to amazing places in China and SE Asia, I have met some good friends, I have had amazing students, I have learned so much as a teacher and as a real adult, and most importantly, I have found my special someone.

I wouldn't trade this experience for anything else.
Living in YC has its frustration, but it's all very minor.
So this post is dedicated to YC, a small city of Chongqing that I have lived close to two years. In the coming year, I am still going to return to China but to Shenzhen instead.
I don't know if I would ever return to YC. I hope that with China's crazy development, YC can still keep its beauty and the friendly and welcoming locals.

Thank you, YC and I look forward to my next China adventure in Shenzhen.

back @ Home - Beautiful Vancouver

It's been a while since my last post.

I am back @ home in Beautiful Vancouver.

I was so worried that the summer would still be cold and rainy like last summer.
But I think I have brought the sun back from China. After the first day back, the weather has been absolutely amazing - blue sky, white clouds, and just sun sun sun :)

Rodney's @ Yaletown

It's so nice to be back here, although I feel a bit out of place at the same time.
My siblings are away in Taiwan and my mom has packed away our stuff...the house does not really feel like a home anymore. Nonetheless, I am still glad that I have a place to stay.

It's been a week since I have gotten back. I am back to UBC to do some ESL certification courses. It definitely feels kind of weird to be busy like a student again yet I enjoy learning the linguistic theory. It's definitely interesting to learn about study of the language.

It has also been a busy week as I have seen a few friends and my closest girlfriends as well. It's very nice to get to see my girlfriends as we are all over the places and it's very hard to meet up.
So even it was just a night out drinking floral tea, we had a great time.

I also got to see Juliana before she's off to Regina.
So the summer is already to a good start -- seeing all my good friends & enjoying the perfect weather.

My dear friends, I hope that you would have a wonderful summer and a great adventure wherever you are. I look forward to our next get together :)

---
So I guess the perfect summer is only missing Matthew here.
But thanks to technology - I get to see his lovely face like everyday...thus, it doesn't feel too lonely without his physical presence.

I hope that with the 2nd week of the summer, I can be more organized and get on the school life routine.

To do list:
-exercise
-school work
-clean up
-reading
...

no time to waste
